Well, we've been too busy to post an update! Left Fredericton after breakfast on Wed., drove to L'Islet, Que. where we found a municipal park that was open. One good thing about camping in Oct., it's free, but no services either.
Took the ferry across at Levi & up to Ste Anne-de-Beaupre, what an amazing church! It is a work of art everywhere you look & massive with lots of Italian marble & mosaic tiles. Drove down the road nearby to see the staging area for the Greater Snow Geese, on their way to warmer climes. There were 23000 geese that day, but up to 80000 some days. Beautiful hiking trails which we enjoyed. Stayed at the Chateau Bellevue (thanks for the recommend, Anne B) so we could be downtown. Had dinner at Le Petit Coin Breton, we don't recommended for a dinner creperie, but enjoyed our meal with Dean's friend Mary Beth whom we saw walking up the street in Levi earlier & arranged to meet for dinner, small world (#1, we expect more)!
Friday was a run/walk around town before heading for Montreal.
Great weekend with Chantel & TJ & the new puppy Ubu (a teenie chiweenie). Saturday Chantel cooked a gy-normous turkey & nephews Adam & Scott & Shannon came to enjoy. Sunday was relax, unload the gifts from motorhome, out for breakfast & set out for Ottawa.
Had 2 awesome dinners at friends Will & Donna's, & a tour of downtown Ottawa. Winter schedules meant the War Museum & the Arts Centre are closed on Monday....boo hoo, but we had a long walk along the river & found some great eats at the Bytown Market to help us thru the next few days without the chefs we've had! Also met niece Suzanne for lunch near here office, thanks to the Dunlops for the use of a car!
Aiming for Sault Saint Marie today, Brandon on Fri. Happy Hallowe'en to all!

Halifax, SJ & F'ton.
Wonderful weekend in Halifax, with Dean & Anne, we all took Norman out for a walk at Long Lake, lovely fall day. Walked to Rogi Orazio for a great dinner, yum, yum Italian, in Hydrostone area. Watched Anne working in her pottery studio in the basement. Sunday afternoon we opened the house, had visits from Roger & Marie Rose, & niece/nephews Claire; Michael & Melanie; Joanne & Charlie; Anne, Grant, Kyle & Lauria; Louise, Dave, Sarah & Ali.. Great to see everyone! After seeing Dean off to work on his bike Monday morning, we headed for Saint John for a delicious barbecue with friends Ray & Lorraine & a visit with niece Brenda & Rachel (we missed you Tim!).
Tuesday we stopped at the Irving Nature Park to catch up on newspapers, emails & did a short hike before driving to Fredericton to have dinner with Gerry's brother Joe, Julie & our goddaughter Michelle.
We "blew our wad" on technology at Aliant & Future Shop: Streets & Trips 2007 with GPS locator (it didn't stop us from getting lost in Saint John!), live internet while we drive; iPod with speakers & the Guardian newspaper online daily. We haven't really left home!! We're all connected now, even on MSN...so get in touch!

Here we are, ready to head for Halifax on Friday! yahoo!
